The Travel Clinic
Shots: Yellow Fever, Polio, MMR, Hepatitis A, Meningococcal Meningitis.
Pill Vaccinations: Typhoid Fever (4 pills)
Pills While I'm There: Malaria
Five. Coutn'em: Five shots one right after the other. Three in my left arm, two in my right. Ouch. I had this done yesterday at the travel clinic in Dartmouth. I didn't mind it at all at the time, but once I had done a little shopping after and discovered that I could barely lift the bags, that's when it bothered me. It also bothered me last night when I discovered that a) I cannot lay on my side, and b) anytime I do I wake up right away. Not much sleep for me last night!
Sat in outpatients for an hour and a half to get my malaria and typhoid precrescriptions today. Truely a wonderful way to pass the time, I recommend it to anyone who has nothing better to do.
Now I'm trying to figure out exactly when I can leave. I Called the Baha'i National Centre to see if they have any more information about the visa I need to get, however the person I have to talk to isn't there. The visa is pretty much the only remaining factor for when I can leave.

Hi Liam...I'm glad you started a journal and I hope you'll keep writing it when you are in Africa. It should be of interest to many of us. Hope you're still feeling all right!
