Visa Application Recieved.... Fianlly!

I got my visa application back today, and it seems I was approved. It is even good for a whole year, although I doubt I'll stay that long, as far as the plan goes, 6 months is the idea. Last thing to do now is get some traveler's cheques, and then I'm good to go. It is finally starting to seem real... I'm going to be in Africa in a couple of weeks (OMG!)

    oh my goodness a year! no way! that is way too long to be gone. in fact i think 6 months is pushing it. maybe you should only go for half that time. how does 3 months sound?

    Everything is falling into place. I can't believe in two weeks you'll be there. I miss you already! But I'm looking forward to your first email home with details about what the Gambia is really like.

    You must be getting so excited and apprehensive at the same time, now that it's so close, Liam! I will miss you too, and hope the people there realize what a cool dude they are getting this time! I will be visiting here regularly to see how everything is going!
