Pictures!

...looks like Megan didn't get my email yesterday as soon as I had hoped, all well. Basically, one of the computers here has Windows XP and a USB port, meaning I can now post pictures more easily. Although I may have to wait a while for them to load - the internet is very slow...
...Ok, no pictures... I've been waiting here for almost an hour for one picture to upload... and there's no sign that its doing anything.
Sorry all.
-Liam

Scoop! Oh, the disappointment! You get us looking forward with great anticipation to pictures ... only to have our hopes dashed once again. Oh well. Hope springs eternal. Maybe next time.

    Hey Liam!
Erika's friend Rob has the same problem when he is at sea on the yacht he works on. He basically sends thumnail or slightly larger, which works better under those conditions, and sends those one at a time. It would not give us much of a look perhaps, but better than nothing! Perhaps you can try it?

Glad you are settling in. Keep posting stuff - we gobble up every word.

Hi Liam. Goon on ya with the blog thing. Like the rest, I am looking forward to seeing real physical evidence, i.e., photographs, to really prove to me that you are there, in Africa, and not on some beach in PEI. I am in Winnipeg today visiting Grandma and Grandpa, and of course, trying earnestly to teach grandpa how to access your blog, only to met with the response, "but I don't understand! What is a blog? Damnit, man, I can't find it. Its gone!" So, even though you are on the other side of the globe, take comfort in the fact that some things never change.

Love you lots, and feeling proud you are there doing what you are doing.

    Uncle Dunc
