Electricity and Bike Repairs....

They finally came and fixed the power at the centre where the computer classes take place, so that has been nice. As it turned out, there was a problem with the meter, and with the lines coming into it, so they had it all fixed. It was nice to be able to really use the computers for a while....Its really hard to teach people how to use a computer without being able to use a computer!
For sure the most interesting thing that has happened recently was when the seat on my bicycle fell off... while I was riding! I was going through Serreckunda (about 5 minutes from home), when the seat suddently fell backwards with a snap. I stopped and looked at it, then I put the pieces, and the seat, in my backpack and kept going, standing on the pedals all the way to the centre (another 6km or so)! By the time I got there, and then rode home later, I was exhausted. I right away asked Mousa, one of the youth in the compound, to help me find somewhere I could get it fixed. He said he would look after it and let me know the cost. The bicycle also needed a few other things; front brakes needed to be tightened, back brake line needed to be added, and I needed a new chain. All in all it cost me about $5.50USD for a new seat, plus all the other repairs.
Anyway, just a quick note for now, I'm going to play Guild Wars with Megan again, so I'll put more on here later!
