Another Update
This week went by quite quickly. I started looking at charts with the computer classes (graphs etc.) and decided to give them a test on what we've been covering recently. I finished reading all of the books that I borrowed, and just today brought them back, and picked up some new ones - a series of 4 books that are apparently really, really good. I don't think I'll be able to read them as quickly as the last batch; there won't be as many holidays.
To answer some questions. The sock idea would work, except that it is about 1000 degrees, even at night, and I can barely stand to even have a sheet over me! I do try now to pull the sheet up over my elbows if I move into a position that puts them near the net, but most of the time now there aren't any mosquitos in the house at all - thanks to new screens, and insecticide! The rainy season lasts until October - just when I leave. Basically I arrived just before it began, so I'm here for the hot, wet season! Fortuntely when it does rain it tends to cool off a bit, and when its cloudy it stays cooler too, although not by very much.
Aside from that there really isn't very much new. This week was basically just a normal week of teaching the computer classses and doing my usual things. Tomorrow I'm hoping to go to Dumbuto with Kia (Faramarz's brother who is here house-sitting while the Shams' are in Canada), so I'll probably have something to post about that!
Just a note about comments; I would very much appreciate it if people would put their name somewhere in the post. It helps me to know who you are! Thanks.

Hi Liam!!!! Glad to hear that you are doing well!!!! I hadn't checked the site in a couple weeks since I've been at camp and you had so much going on!!!! I think of you a lot while I am at camp, we are kind of along the same lines, following what we love in a ministerial setting! Also I am now in the situation of no indoor plumbing and little access to hot water. I only get to shower when I come home on weekends, the lake is as clean as I get! Summer is amazing here! We have had some excellent thunder storms out at camp too! Fortunately the campers were so tired they didnt wake up!Take care I hope to talk to you soon!!!! Love Kelly

Glad you are getting adjusted to the climate and the critters, when I was your age, I went to South Carolina as a US Marine, and we used to have those giant roaches visit the trash cans in our living area...we always figured they thrived on the bug spray! We are enjoying 95+F weather, and not getting enough rain this year, hope the sugar cane farmers don't lose their crops.

Hi Liam! Had your Mom and Megan in for a lovely little barbequed supper tonight, then we went shopping in New Minas. And then your Ma and I walked around Berwick in the hot humid weather. I am still feeling too hot and red in the face! I know . . . we don't know what humidity is probably compared to what you are living in! But the humidity is at 91% right now with a temp of only 22 C. Feels much hotter. Tomorrow will be at least 32 C. Makes us almost look forward to winter again! Bye for now . . . you should check out the family site. . . I posted a little video of Black Rock with the sound of the waves . . .! Hugs and kisses from Aunt Mary
