New Pictures!

It's been a while since I've been able to post anything on here, I'm soooooo busy - Its been probably 3 weeks since I've not gone anywhere during the day, I would welcome a real 'day off'...
My birthday was on the 20th - I'm 19! Thanks to everyone who sent emails, e-cards etc. It was really nice to get all of them! As usual on Sundays I was hanging out with Kia, and that week a friend of Andre's was here from England so she was with us too (Andre was in Basse, at the far end of the country). We went out for lunch, Kia bought us all some sweets, and we spent the rest of the day just chatting. We spent some time on the computer and found all of the Baha'i houses of worship all around the world on Google Earth. It was very cool to see them all. I was also able to spend some time on Guild Wars with Megan, although not very long. My Birthday present was the expansion for the game that we both play so often, so it was fun to have a look at that.
The new computers are finally out of the port. I took one of them with me a couple of days ago to the Centre, and promtly blew it up. :( The Power Supply on it was set to 110, for North America, not 220 like for here. I felt really stupid, and well, noobish. All well, fortunately I didn't electrocute myself or anything like that, and I'll be sure not to do that with any of the other computers! Of course because I did that I also didn't get a chance to see what they are actually like, so I need to have a look at another one - I'm hoping they'll still let me work with them!
I've been even busier than normal this last week for a couple of reasons. I'll be giving my computer students an Exam on Excel tomorrow and Tuesday, so I spent a lot of time last week preparing that and getting it onto each of the comptuers - no Floopy disks or USB ports - I litterally had to type the thing into each of the seven computers. yay! (ugh.)
I've also been starting to teach PowerPoint, so I've been doing a lot of preparation related to that as well. The students are already enjoying PowerPoint - and I think I'm going to have fun with it too, its not just teaching a program, its teaching them a way of organizing information and also teaching them how to present properly!
The first picture here is of (From left to right): Kia Shams, Bozorg Tavangar, Barbara Arrington, Bob Arrington, Darius Neyestani, me, Adama, and Dan. Picture two is me and Kia at the Latri-Kunda Baha'i Centre on my Birthday. Picture 3 is me with Musa Badjie, who may be going on a year of service at Greenacre, Maine soon. He has also been of great help to me here with things like the Bicycle, and communicating with Adama and Sherifo Badgie (my hosts). Picture 4 is of a lot of people (ask me when I get home if you really want all the names!), we took it also on my birthday at the Latri-Kunda centre - this is about all of the active Baha'is in the area (basically the country). The last picture of is Kia Shams and Bozorg Tavangar, who have been friends for a decade or more. Of course, I'm going to take lots more picture over the next two months... although I may have more than two months here to take pictures... (just maybe).
