Wrap-ups

I suddenly noticed that people have been reading... and commenting on my blog... no one had for a while! In answer to Erika's question, I leave (OMG!) a week from today, that being: April 20th. I don't arrive for about 28 hours (OMG!), therefore I arrive on the 21st.
I talked to someone in The Gambia today, the first time I've talked to someone who is actually there, and they said I will probably be staying with a family for the first few days I am there. The Gambia's Baha'i National Convention is the weekend I arrive, so I will get to meet everyone then. Until then, I am really just waiting, there is nothing more for me to do, except pack, (not only for leaving, but everything in my room) and wait.
Looking forward to seeing everyone (family that is) on Sunday!

The Last Piece Falls in Place

This morning I went and got my traveller's cheques. Icould get them from my own Bank (PC Financial) because of some bizarre thing about them not processing certified cheuqes, but anyway, I have them now. This was the last thing I was waiting to have happen, now I'm ready to go! I'm going to be busy between now and the 20th however, I have to fix a couple of computers so that everything is working before I leave, including my own computer that has just now started to do some strange things.
I'm definintly not going to be bored this weekend; Cape Split, BBQ, Easter, etc, etc. Soounds like it will be fun though!
